Rose Family Estate is looking for a Cellar Hand to join our production team. This is a full-time, year-round position supporting the winemakers in all aspects of wine production.
The role suits someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and works well in a team environment. Attention to detail, forward thinking, and reliability are essential. Experience in a similar role is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day cellar operations using SOPs and winery systems
- Perform wine movements, additions, barrel work, and filtrations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and equipment cleanliness
- Support bottling and assist with tastings, blending, and trials
- Accurately complete records and communicate clearly with the team
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous cellar experience or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A practical, organised mindset with good attention to detail
- The ability to work safely and effectively with others
- Flexibility to work varied hours when required
- Current forklift and driver’s licence (preferred)
