Hyde bar boasts a chic and modern speakeasy atmosphere, perfect for those seeking to indulge in a hand-crafted cocktail, delicious tapas, or a glass of premium wine whilst listening to a host of regular live entertainment.

About the role:

Hyde is currently on the look out for a part-time bartender to work Fridays and Saturdays to work alongside our bar team to help create an unforgettable experience for our guests while maintaining a fun and professional atmosphere. 

The preferred candidate with have the following:

  • Extensive cocktail & beverage knowledge
  • High levels of service 100% of the time and a strong guest focus 
  • Great energy and personality to bring to the team!
  • A current LCQ and Manager's Certificate is preferred but not essential.
  • Perks include great staff discounts across our venues. 

Please note, we are located in Arrowtown and open until 2am. So if you live outside the area then access to your own transportation is a must.

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum 1 years experience in a similar role.
  • Must have right to work in New Zealand, sponsorship not available. 
  • English language skills essential.
  • Must have access to reliable transport.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

This position is not available for sponsorship or visa applicants. Visa holders,  New Zealand citizens and residents applications will only be looked at.
