As Bar Manager, you’ll manage bar operations, craft cocktails, maintain stock levels, and ensure smooth service. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take full responsibility for overall bar service, including stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
- Create and experiment with new cocktail recipes, curating an exciting seasonal drinks menu.
- Ensure that bar operations run smoothly and that guests receive excellent service.
- Handle guest interactions, take payments, and foster friendly conversations that enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and the business’s Host Responsibility policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on trends in the cocktail and bar industry, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
- Oversee stock control, minimizing product wastage, and ensuring the bar is always fully stocked.
- Complete regular stocktakes, investigate variances, and maintain control over stock levels and costs.
- Oversee the preparation of the bar, ensuring it's fully stocked, organized, and ready for service at all times.
- Ensure that all stock is correctly entered and managed through the invoicing and stock system.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for wines, ensuring recommendations align with the food and drinks offerings.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests in a welcoming and engaging way.
- Creative thinking and initiative, with a desire to contribute to the development of the bar’s offerings and operations.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a bartender, with a solid understanding of bar operations and a desire to step into a more senior role.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage stock, inventory, and daily bar operations.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think on your feet and manage unexpected challenges.
- A positive, friendly attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and manage bar operations independently, including stock control, ordering, and maintaining a high standard of service.
Role Details:
- Position: Full-time Bar Manager.
- Hours: Fixed hours, including evenings and weekends as required to cover all bar operations.
- Start Date: Immediate availability preferred, but we can work with the right candidate’s schedule.
