Restaurant Manager (Sommelier and Chef Jobs: Restaurants)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Restaurant Manager to become an integral part of our esteemed Japanese restaurant in Christchurch.

This pivotal role requires candidates who embody reliability, hard work, trustworthiness and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. We are seeking someone that can take the business to a new level.

Someone that is passionate for customer service as well as sales and to modernises the operation of the business. 

Requirements:-

• -Fluent in English.
• -Multilingual is a bonus as we have a very multi cultural customer base and workforce. 
• -Must have a manager certificate license.
• -Valid driver's licence.
• -Demonstrated trustworthiness and ability to work autonomously.
• -Strong team work and leadership skill.
• -Someone that have at least 3 years experience in hospitality.
• -Proficiency in cash handling.
• -Expertise in inventory control, costing and ordering.
• -Experience in staff rostering.
• -Capability in organising group bookings.
• -Ability to curate special set menus.
• -Proficiency in paperwork management.
• -Ability to train new staff and maintain restaurant service level. 
• -Must have experience in social media marketing as well as email marketing.
