About the role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Kasuri Indian Eatery & Bar in Silverdale, Auckland. This is a full-time position that will see you leading our front-of-house operations and overseeing our vibrant bar. Your primary responsibilities will include managing our team of servers, bartenders and hosts, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving overall profitability for the restaurant. Having LCQ and Liquor Manager Certificate is essential
What you'll be doing
- Oversee all front-of-house operations, including scheduling, training and managing the server, bartender and host teams
- Ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience for all customers
- Monitor inventory, track sales and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability
- Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and lead by example
- Develop and implement strategies to drive repeat business and increase customer loyalty
What we're looking for
- Experience in a similar restaurant management role
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in inventory management, budgeting and data analysis
- Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and bar operations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
