At Queens Wineshop, we're looking for a part time sales assistant to join the team.
Our mission is to provide our community with a carefully curated selection of wines and spirits while offering first class service and recommendations.
Driven by our passion for hospitality and love of all things fermented and distilled, we are looking for a like-minded individual to join the crew.
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will:
- Deliver warm and exceptional customer service
- Discover customers preferences and needs to assist them with product selection
- Maintain high levels of store visual presentation standards
- Demonstrate a high level of care when handling product
- Operate POS systems and cash management
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
- A passion for wine, beer and spirits and a thirst to deepen your product knowledge
- A commitment to self-directed learning to build your product knowledge
- A genuine curiosity and interest in people and a desire to meet their needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong attention to detail, visual merchandising, and accuracy
- A team-player with a preparedness to help out where needed
- Self-motivated and efficient in the execution of daily tasks
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Managers Certificate required
