About Us
At Edmond de Rothschild Heritage, passion is our driving force. It brings our teams together to create unique and authentic “art of living” experiences: Wine, Gastronomy, luxurious accommodations, Farming ... In our visionary approach, we strive to develop and pass on to future generations a heritage that combines modernity with respect for Tradition, People and Earth
In New-Zealand, the Edmond de Rothschild Heritage Wine adventure started in 2012 with Rimapere in Blenheim, Marlborough and was boosted 2 years ago with the acquisition of Akarua in Bannockburn, central Otago. The two single estates are grown organically, using regenerative techniques. We capture those wonderful Terroirs in our Premium Wines, that we are distributing to 80 countries.
To pursue this dynamic growth, we are recruiting a full-time Head Winemaker, based in our Cairnmuir Road Winery, Bannockburn. The Role covers all aspects of the Winemaking process and the Winery Management. The site receives production from both vineyards, makes wines ready for BioGro certification and all markets, as well as providing some contract services.
