Klassic Distribution is based in Tauranga, and operates across the Bay of Plenty, East Coast, Waikato, and Coromandel. Klassic manufactures and distributes fresh and salt ice, has the exclusive distribution rights for Southern Bait and Penguin Bait in the area, as well as a growing wholesale offer. Klassic has a fleet of temperature-controlled trucks and delivers products to supermarkets, petrol stations, liquor stores, takeaways, bakeries, dairies and more.
We are looking for an energetic full-time sales representative to join our team, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Generating leads and prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Presenting and selling our products.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Providing excellent customer service and after-sales support
- Reporting on sales activities and performance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG or Food Service industry
- A valid driver's license
- A positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A store safe pass would be helpful although this is not essential.
To be eligible for this role, you must have either NZ citizenship or a valid NZ work permit.
