Hillersden Winery is a family-owned winery in Marlborough. We produce sauvignon blanc, and a few other varieties, from our own vineyards and a range of growers. Next year we will process 3 000 tonnes (23 000 Hl). We are big enough to have the most modern equipment and small enough for all our team to see every stage of production.
We are looking for Cellar Hands to help us turn our grapes into wine during the next vintage period. The core of our team have been working together for several years. To join us you must have some mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with pumps and machinery but most importantly, you must have an interest in the winemaking process.
All of our team must be able to work 7 days a week during the harvest period - from mid-March to mid-April. We have five positions available that range from 5 weeks to 16 weeks duration, from 10 March 2025. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed.
We offer competitive wages ($28 - $31 per hour depending on experience) and transport to the winery, which is located in the Upper Wairau Valley, 45 km from Blenheim. If you need an AEWV visa we can help, but you must have at least two vintages experience.
