Mount Brown Estates is a family-owned, premium winery in Waipara, North Canterbury producing an award-winning range of wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rose and Syrah. We have two vineyards covering 40 ha processing about 400T of grapes in our own winery.
We are seeking a Vintage Cellar Hand for 2025, beginning early March, for approximately 8 weeks.
The role offers diverse experience in dealing with large commercial quantities along with smaller parcels of premium wine.
The successful candidate must:
- have worked through at least three vintages
- be hands-on and hard-working, with a willingness to work the long hours that vintage requires
- have a broad knowledge of all winery operations and equipment
- have a current driver's licence and ideally a forklift license
- be eligible to work in New Zealand
