Role:

• Senior waiter and Wine Service Professional. 2 x positions available immediately. Full time, permanent position. Must be able to fill bar and floor positions

Hours: 

• 35-45 per week, over 5 days, with two consecutive days off. You will be required to work weekends and a mixture of both day and night shifts.

Experience and Personal Skills: 

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant bar.
• Cocktail, Beverage and Coffee making skills
• An extensive knowledge of NZ and European wines including food matching, wine service and sales.  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, a positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Speed of movement is essential and the ability to remain calm under pressure. 

Job Description: 

• Bartenders are required to know all cocktails on our list plus unlisted classics, with strict adherence to Prego brand. This includes full preparation of ingredients and product. 
• Bar set up and closedown, restock, Keg changing, clean down and barback duties, storeroom maintenance, stock rotation. 
• Coffee making
• Food and drink service at bar and as a waiter. You and the bar team are responsible for all guests dining or drinking in these areas. You may be required to waiter a section in the restaurant if required. 
• Brand ambassador, competent in looking after a maximum of ten tables, customer connection and service.
• Assist Guests with wine selection by offering your knowledge and guidance.

Hourly Rate: $27-$30 per hour.

Qualifications: 

• Wine training certificates or references, relating to local and European wine. 
• At least 2 years experience working in a busy bar restaurant.
