QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
Proven experience in food and beverage management with at least 3 years equal or relevant experience, OR NZQF diploma
Food and Beverage Manager – Whitianga
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to help lead our operations in Whitianga. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of food and beverage services, ensuring quality, profitability, and a memorable guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, and events.
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff, ensuring high performance.
- Collaborate with chefs on menu development and source quality ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean environment.
- Address guest concerns to ensure an exceptional experience. Planning and also organizing events and special functions.
Interpersonal & Personal Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cost control, menu development, and hospitality trends.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
